The patch method is a mechanical pothole repair and is therefore a method for quickly and inexpensively repairing road damage such as potholes, frost heaves and cracks - but also as preparatory work for surface treatment. It is often used to restore traffic safety on roads and extend the life of the road surface. The damaged area is filled with a bitumen emulsion-chip mixture. The patch method is particularly effective because it allows the repaired areas to be driven over quickly and increases the repair capacity per working day.
